Training - safe expansion

How to legally and effectively introduce online sales to new markets?

Expanding e-commerce into new markets is a natural step for many online stores looking to scale sales and reach new customers. However, each new market also brings new legal regulations, disclosure requirements, and differences in consumer protection, taxes, and personal data processing.

This practical training will show you how to safely and legally prepare your online store for international sales – both within and outside the European Union. You'll avoid common mistakes and build customer trust, regardless of the country.

Who is this training for?

The training was created with the following in mind:

  • owners and managers of online stores planning to sell abroad,

  • e-commerce, marketing, complaints and customer service specialists,

  • persons responsible for legal compliance, GDPR, regulations and payments,

  • startups and SMEs that want to enter new markets without legal risk.

What will you learn?

  • What regulations do you need to know before you start selling abroad (including Germany, France, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania and the Nordic countries),

  • What are the information obligations towards consumers in the EU and outside the EU,

  • How to legally adapt your store's regulations, returns and complaints policy to local regulations,

  • What you need to know about local VAT rates, tax registrations and OSS,

  • How to prepare for international returns – in accordance with the law and customer expectations,

  • How to protect the personal data of foreign customers (GDPR and local regulations),

  • What labeling, language, and product compliance requirements may apply in a given country?

  • How to cooperate with foreign marketplaces (e.g. Amazon, eBay, Kaufland) – and not break regulations or the law.

Why is it worth it?

E-commerce has no boundaries – but there are regulations. Selling internationally without understanding local legal obligations can lead to fines, refunds, or a bad reputation. This training will help you prepare your online store for expansion step by step – legally, transparently, and professionally.

The maximum duration of the training is 4 hours.
