Training - Omnibus Directive

Omnibus Directive – obligations and good practices for e-shops

The Omnibus Directive is a crucial piece of legislation for every online store. The new regulations cover, among other things, price promotions, consumer reviews, price personalization, and online sales. They have been in force in Poland since January 1, 2023, but their proper application still raises many questions, especially among online sellers and marketers.

The training will help you organize your knowledge, discuss the most common mistakes, and show you how to legally build consumer trust – and avoid high fines from the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection.

Who is this training for?

The training is dedicated to:

  • owners of online stores and sales platforms,

  • employees of e-commerce, marketing, sales and customer service departments,

  • legal and compliance specialists,

  • all companies that communicate promotions, collect reviews or sell online.

What will you learn?

  • What exactly does the Omnibus Directive change and what obligations does it impose on sellers?

  • How to properly present price reductions (e.g. the "lowest price in 30 days" rule),

  • How to interpret obligations in the context of discount codes, loyalty programs, and other forms of promotion

  • How to legally collect and present consumer opinions,

  • What are the rules for informing about personalized prices and product rankings?

  • How to adapt regulations and sales processes to new regulations,

  • What are the penalties for violating the regulations and how to avoid them?

Why is it worth it?

This training will teach you how to comply with the law while simultaneously building a positive shopping experience. Transparency and regulatory compliance are key competitive advantages today. The maximum training duration is 2.5 hours.
