Allegro Academy Webinars: Legal Aspects of E-Commerce in Practice

by Marcin Tomczak on Sep 30, 2024

In an era of constant change and growing challenges in the e-commerce industry, the ability to navigate the complex legal landscape and adapt one's business practices to applicable regulations is becoming an essential element of success. That's why expert-led educational webinars provide an excellent opportunity to deepen knowledge and offer entrepreneurs invaluable support in developing their online businesses. In recent months, CEO & Founder of ecommerce.legal , Marcin Tomczak, had the opportunity to participate in two such events, organized by the Allegro Academy , which were met with widespread interest.

E-commerce expansion into the Czech and Slovak markets

The first webinar took place at the end of July 2024 and focused on the legal aspects of expanding into foreign markets, with a particular focus on the Czech and Slovak markets. Participants learned about:

  • what legal regulations apply in these countries,
  • What to pay special attention to when starting cross-border sales
  • how to prepare your business for the challenges of expanding into new markets.

For sellers planning international expansion , this was an excellent opportunity to understand the specifics of the Czech and Slovak markets and thus avoid potential risks related to incorrect interpretation of regulations!

Professional handling of returns and complaints

The next event took place on September 20, 2024, and focused on a topic of crucial importance to all entrepreneurs operating on the Allegro platform: professional returns and complaints handling . Marcin Tomczak discussed best practices for deliveries, returns, and complaints, in compliance with applicable legal regulations. The meeting also addressed topics related to building consumer trust through effective after-sales service. We are pleased to report that over 600 people attended this event, demonstrating how important after-sales policies are to many sellers in online commerce.

Undoubtedly, both webinars provided a unique opportunity to gain valuable knowledge that participants can use in their businesses. We are grateful for the opportunity to share our experience and  support you - entrepreneurs - in developing your e-businesses.

We can't wait for the next meetings, and they're sure to come! It's worth keeping up with the latest posts and news, where we'll inform you about upcoming events—conferences, trade shows, and webinars.
